Susan can now sleep comfortably
Born on 21st October 2012, Susan was raised by a loving mother. She loved and took care of Suzan like any mother would without the help of Susan’s father.
Susan later got a new father and the family of three lived together. The illusion of a family was short-lived. Fights and quarrels became the order of the day between Susan’s parents.
One fateful evening, her parents had a fight, luckily the fight ended, and they slept afterwards. The next morning like was the norm, the family of three set off for the garden, little did they know that it would be a day to remember especially for Susan, by then 5years old. The couple began to quarrel, and a fight ensued, Susan’s stepfather hit the mother with a hoe on the head. filled with a lot of fright, Susan ran to the bush to hide and witnessed as her stepfather dragged her mother’s lifeless body to hide it in the cassava planation.
Susan later joined MIK foundation in December 2017 and was enrolled into school. She is a quiet girl who loves dancing. She aspires to become a nurse in the future.
